Rwanda’s young football talents are making a powerful statement on the international stage at the PSG Academies World Cup 2026 in Paris, France, after two teams secured places in the Finals following an outstanding day of competition.
The journey began with impressive quarter-final victories from all three Rwandan representatives, showing quality, discipline, and determination against strong opposition from across the world as follow:
• (Boys U11) Bahrain 1–2 Rwanda
• (Boys U13) Rwanda 6–1 Canada
• (Girls U15) Rwanda 5–1 UK
The momentum continued into the semi-finals, where Rwanda’s boys teams held their nerve in tense penalty shootouts to book historic spots in the Finals.

• (Boys U13) West Indies 0–0 Rwanda

• (Girls U15) Brazil 1–0 Rwanda
The Boys U11 and U13 teams will now face Brazil in both Finals on May 11, while the Girls U15 side will battle France for third place after a brave performance against Brazil.
