On its second day, the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) Knowledge Exchange Workshop focused on insightful discussions and practical learning focused on strengthening football development in Africa.
Participants explored the key theme of talent identification, discovering strategies to identify, nurture, and support the next generation of football stars.
Through the “TDS in Action” sessions, delegates learned how Tanzania and Uganda identifies, develops and supports young talents within their football ecosystems, providing valuable experiences and best practices.
In the afternoon, the Rwanda Football Federation showcased its national talent development model, highlighting systems and initiatives designed to build the future generation of Rwandan players.
The day concluded with a live training observation session, giving participants a practical look into Rwanda’s talent development activities on the field.
Through these engaging sessions, Rwandan delegates continue to gain valuable knowledge, ideas, and technical expertise aimed at further strengthening youth football development in Rwanda and across the region.
