Al Hilal SC have officially been crowned BK Pro-League 2025/26 champions after securing a 2-1 victory over Gasogi United to cement their place at the top of the league standing with three matches left to play.
The Matchday 33 fixture was played this Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Kigali Pelé Stadium, where Al-Hilal SC delivered another strong performance to seal the title.
With this important win, Al-Hilal SC amassed 73 points from 31 matches played in the BK Pro-League 2025/26 season. They now hold a 14-point lead over second-placed APR FC, who also have three matches remaining, and a 13-point advantage over third-placed Al-Merrikh SC, who still have four matches left to play, including a highly anticipated clash against their Sudanese rivals.
Following the final whistle, FERWAFA President Fabrice Shema and Rwanda Premier League Chairman Haji Youssuf Mudaheranwa officially presented the trophy and medals to Al-Hilal SC in celebration of their remarkable campaign.
It is expected that the top-ranked Rwandan club at the end of the season will be awarded the “BK Pro-League National Champions title’, earn cash prize worth Rwf. 80m and seal an automatic spot in next season’s CAF Champions League.
