The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has officially unveiled the player registration windows for the 2026–2027 football season, providing clubs across the country with the timeline for registering new players ahead of their respective competitions.  

For men’s professional football, the first registration window will open from 15 July to 30 September 2026, while the second registration period is scheduled to open from 26 December 2026 to 24 January 2027. 

Women’s professional clubs will be able to register players from 1 August to 23 October 2026, with a second window running from 8 January to 7 February 2027.  

Amateur clubs will begin their registration process earlier, with the first window opening on 10 June and closing on 30 August 2026. 

A second registration period for amateur players will take place from 3 January to 31 January 2027. 

The registration windows are a key part of the football calendar, allowing clubs to strengthen their squads, complete player transfers, and ensure eligibility for domestic competitions throughout the season. 

FERWAFA has urged all clubs to respect the set deadlines and complete the necessary procedures within the designated periods.
