The 2026 Imizi Football Alliance Kwibohora Tournament came to a successful conclusion on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at Tapis Rouge in Nyamirambo, bringing together some of Rwanda’s promising young football talents in the U10, U13 and U16 categories.

The tournament finals showcased exciting and competitive football as teams battled for top honours. In the U10 category, N.R.F claimed the title after defeating The Rock FA 2-0 in the final.

The U13 final proved to be a closely contested encounter, ending goalless before Aganze SC triumphed 2-1 in the penalty shootout against Umurabyo to lift the championship trophy.

In the U16 Girls’ final, APR FC overcame Imena FC 2-0 on penalties after the match finished 0-0, while APR FC also emerged victorious in the U16 Boys’ final, edging Ingenzi FA 1-0 to complete an impressive double in the tournament.

Representing FERWAFA leadership at the finals, the Commissioner in charge of Technical Matters and Development, Mr. Fidèle KANAMUGIRE, joined players, coaches, parents and football stakeholders in witnessing the tournament’s concluding matches and the awarding of the champions.

The Kwibohora Tournament, organized annually by Imizi Football Alliance, continues to provide an important platform for youth football development by giving young players the opportunity to compete, showcase their talent and gain valuable match experience in a competitive environment.
