The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) is among African Member Associations which have empowered with modern Governance skills following the conclusion of the inaugural French edition of the CAF Football Management Executive Programme in Dakar, Senegal. 

The inaugural French edition of the CAF Football Management Executive Programme was delivered by Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”), in partnership with Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, marking another important milestone in CAF’s ongoing commitment to strengthening football administration across the continent.

In attendance during the course which concluded on July 29, was FERWAFA’s Kelly Keza. Besides Rwanda, the program also attracted General Secretaries and Senior Football administrators from CAF Member Associations, including Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gabon, Madagascar, Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal and Togo.

The programme combined online sessions and in-person sessions, covered strategic planning, project management, operations and financial strategy, organisational human resources management, marketing, sponsorship, law and compliance, as well as public relations and crisis management.

The CAF Football Management Executive Programme forms part of the CAF IMPACT Programme and is one of the key initiatives supporting CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe's vision of strengthening governance, leadership and professional football administration across all 54 CAF Member Associations.

The launch of the programme in French broadens access to executive education for CAF's French-speaking Member Associations and reinforces the organisation's commitment to developing skilled football administrators capable of driving sustainable growth and modern governance throughout African football.
