The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), through its Technical Directorate, is conducting Module 6 of the CAF A Licence Coaching Course from 24 to 28 August 2026, with a focus on strengthening coaches’ technical, tactical and communication competencies.
The module covers key areas of modern football, including football skills, tactical aspects and Communication in Modern Football, delivered through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions.
The Communication in Modern Football component is facilitated by Mr. Olivier Maurice Mutuyimana, FERWAFA Digital Communications Manager, equipping participants with relevant communication knowledge and skills essential for operating effectively within today’s football environment.
The technical and tactical components are being delivered by staff from the FERWAFA Technical Directorate, combining classroom theory with practical sessions to enhance participants’ understanding and application of modern football principles.
The programme is overseen by Mr. Gerard M. Buscher, FERWAFA National Technical Director, as FERWAFA continues to invest in the professional development of coaches and promote higher standards of technical excellence within Rwandan football.
Through the CAF A Licence programme, FERWAFA continues to strengthen the capacity of coaches with the knowledge, practical expertise and modern competencies required to contribute to the sustainable development of football in Rwanda.
